Guario Rodriguez.
I'm Guario Rodriguez. I've been writing and shipping software professionally since 2008, and leading engineering teams since 2015, first as a team lead, then as an engineering manager. CodeFusion Labs is the consultancy I started in 2023 to do that work for a wider range of companies than any one full-time job lets you reach.
What I've done
Staff-level work, across industries.
I've led engineering teams at Kin Insurance, Highspot, Cricut, and PlanSource. The work has spanned insurance software, sales enablement, consumer hardware and IoT, and HR benefits platforms. What stays consistent across those industries is the part I care about: shipping software that's actually used, on teams that actually want to be there.

I'm based in Winter Springs, Florida. CodeFusion Labs works remotely with US-based clients: that's the model that lets me give every engagement the attention it deserves.
